Shep is an AI-powered Bible study app that draws exclusively from pastors, churches, and Christian voices you already trust. Instead of generic AI answers from the internet, every response is sourced from sermon content you've subscribed to — fully cited so you can dig into the original teaching.
When you subscribe to a sermon feed, Shep indexes every episode — extracting scripture references, key themes, illustrations, and teaching points. When you create a plan or ask a question, the AI generates content from these trusted sources only. It never uses random internet training data. Every claim links back to the original sermon.
Yes. Your chat messages, church selections, and personal data are stored securely and never shared with third parties for advertising. We use your data solely to personalize your experience within the app. You can review our full Privacy Policy for details.
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Shep to cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Any church that publishes sermons through YouTube, RSS podcast feeds, Spotify, or Vimeo can be added to Shep. During setup, you search for your church or paste a feed URL. If your church shares sermons online, it works with Shep.
Shep is currently available for iOS only. Android support is on our roadmap — if you're interested, download on iOS and let us know through the feedback option so we can prioritize based on demand.
